II · The Movement
Scroll, and Caliber M-19 comes apart the way it does on the bench: crystal first, dial after, down to the last engraved screw. The watchmaker takes four days. You may take your time.
The Nine · In Order of Removal
Solid gold, engraved with the movement's serial and, if you wish, your initials.
Milled from a single brass blank, then finished by hand with circular perlage.
Geneva stripes above, sixteen rubies below, each jewel seated by hand in a gold chaton.

III · The Collection
Each is built to order in six to ten weeks, numbered in the ledger, and delivered by hand. Photographed, as tradition insists, at eight minutes past ten.

Our original silhouette, unchanged since the first ledger entry. Brushed steel, ivory lacquer, and nothing it does not need.
No. 02 · The Evening Watch
An 18 karat gold dress watch, thin enough to disappear beneath a cuff and patient enough to outlast its first owner.
No. 03 · The Instrument
A two register chronograph in two tone, timed to the fifth of a second, for people who track more than time.
IV · How We Work
Four rules, unchanged in four generations. They are why a Meridian takes months, and why it lasts lifetimes.
Every bridge is beveled and polished by a single pair of hands, so no two Meridian movements catch the light in quite the same way.
We do not outsource the case. Ours is milled, polished, and set on our own floor, four flights above the bench where Elias Meridian began.
Bring your Meridian back in fifty years and the watchmaker who opens it will still speak the language your grandfather's did.

V · Heritage
Elias Meridian opens a one room workshop above his father's clock shop and sells his first pocket watch before the paint on the door is dry.
The house builds its first wristwatch, adapted from a pocket movement at the request of a customer who flew mail planes at night.
Meridian earns its first chronometer rating and begins numbering every case by hand, a habit no one has seen a reason to break.
Arthur Meridian, grandson of the founder, opens the current atelier and introduces the automatic rotor caliber still beating today.
The house survives the quartz years the only way it knew how: by refusing to make a single quartz watch.
One hundred years are marked with the Centennial edition, limited to 111 pieces and sold out inside a week.
Four generations in, under Julia Meridian, every movement is still finished by hand. The ledger is on its ninth volume.
