Research Use Policy
This Research Use Policy describes the conditions under which Norway Peptides supplies research-grade peptides and related compounds (collectively, "Products"). By purchasing, receiving, or using any Product, Buyer agrees to comply with this Policy in addition to our Terms of Sale.
Permitted Use
Products are supplied solely for in vitro laboratory research, scientific investigation, and educational study by qualified researchers, research institutions, and analytical laboratories.
Prohibited Use
Products may not, under any circumstances, be:
- Administered to humans or animals for any reason, including diagnosis, treatment, prevention, cure, mitigation of any disease or condition, or for cosmetic, performance-enhancing, or recreational purposes
- Used as ingredients in food, dietary supplements, cosmetics, drugs, or any consumer product
- Repackaged, relabeled, or resold for human or veterinary use
- Used in any manner that violates applicable federal, state, or local law or regulation
- Distributed to any party who has not made the same representations and warranties to Norway Peptides
Buyer Representations
By placing an order, Buyer represents and warrants:
- Buyer is a qualified researcher, research professional, or authorized representative of a research institution
- Buyer is at least 21 years of age
- Buyer will handle, store, and dispose of all Products in accordance with established laboratory safety practices and all applicable laws
- Buyer will not administer Products to humans or animals or permit any other person to do so
- Buyer accepts full responsibility for the use and outcome of any research conducted with the Products
Documentation and Traceability
Each Product shipment includes a lot-specific Certificate of Analysis. Buyer is responsible for retaining COAs and any other documentation required by Buyer's institution, accreditation body, or applicable regulatory framework. Norway Peptides maintains internal lot records and can reissue past COAs upon request.
Regulatory Status
Products are not approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration or any other regulatory authority for human or veterinary use, diagnosis, or treatment of any condition. No statement made by Norway Peptides has been evaluated by the FDA. Products are sold under the research-chemical and research-reagent exemptions applicable to laboratory and educational research; Buyer is responsible for confirming the legal status of any Product in Buyer's jurisdiction.
Right to Refuse
Norway Peptides reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order at its sole discretion, including but not limited to circumstances where Norway Peptides has reason to believe a Product may be misused, where required documentation is incomplete, or where Buyer is located in a jurisdiction in which the Product cannot lawfully be sold or shipped.
Reporting Misuse
To report suspected misuse of Norway Peptides Products, contact research@norwaypeptides.com. Norway Peptides cooperates with law enforcement and regulatory authorities in any investigation of unlawful Product use.
